Learn more about children at St. Charles

St. Charles is committed to helping children, youth and families grow in faith, following Christ’s example of love and inclusion for our youngest members.

Through Sunday Bible study classes, a pastor-led time for children during worship, vacation Bible school, fellowship and recreation activities, summer youth camp, baptism preparation groups and more, St. Charles values youth.

All our children’s ministries rest on a foundation of sharing God’s love and teaching the basics of Christian faith.  Our church life is inter-generational, so that children and youth learn from adults, and adults can be inspired by youth.

Children’s Sunday School

Children meet at 9:45 am to learn about God’s love and lessons of the faith.  Using materials, geared for a child’s developmental stage, that follow the Biblical lectionary, dedicated, experienced leaders offer an interesting, educational class where children are cherished and respected.

Children have the opportunity to ask questions and seek guidance in an atmosphere of acceptance and love. The class also gets togethers for plenty of recreational and social activities.

Led by Beth Herring and Nathan Lott, the children’s class meets in Room 209.
