Our Program

Volunteers at St. Charles will serve a hot meal at noon in our courtyard on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month. This is our effort to assist individuals and families facing food insecurity in the Greater New Orleans area, as there are few resources of this kind in the Carrollton area or on Saturdays.

Sponsor a Meal

Donations can be made specifically to this program - all proceeds go toward the cost of food. A gift of $150 can cover the cost of one whole Saturday, providing some 50 meals or more for our guests. Of course, all donations are welcome!

Volunteer With Us

Join us! We welcome volunteers to help cook, serve, set up tables, and clean up after the meals (10:30 AM to 1:30 PM). Volunteers are also welcomed to help organize and distribute clothing and toiletry items that we have available for our guests.

Our faith formation team, lead by Linda Easterlin, is establishing volunteer opportunities for congregation and community members. The effort is called “All Saints Rising.” All are welcome to participate.
