Join us for the Mabel Palmer Lecture Series on Saturday evening, Oct. 19 at 6:00 PM.

Michael Stone, the former executive director of Virginians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty, will share about the successful abolishment of the death penalty in Virginia and strategies for this work in Louisiana.

A panel discussion will follow Michael’s lecture, and our special guest and local faith leader, Alison McCrary, will deliver a guest sermon on Sunday morning (Oct. 20) at 11 AM.

Also hear from Lavergne Thompson, the widow of John Thompson, a death row exoneree. You can learn more about John from clicking the link below or also here.
